
Nili earned the Best Actor award at Boston's Sci-Fi Film Festival (as well as multiple other festival nominations) for her starring portrayal of Susan in this sci-fi thriller/dark comedy feature. Edgar believes he can see the future, but his wife thinks he's mad, his daughter thinks he's strange, and the agents from double star accounting will stop at nothing to get their data back. The Strange Dark premiered in NYC at the Soho International Film Festival in September 2024. Many festivals followed including The Boston Sci-Fi Film Festival where Nili was honored with the festival's BEST ACTOR Award and Chris Messineo (writer/director) won BEST SCREENPLAY. In Philadelphia, Nili also received a nomination for BEST ACTRESS IN A FEATURE FILM and the cast won the awards for BEST ENSEMBLE IN A FEATURE FILM. Next up, Nili has been nominating in excelelnt company for BEST ACTRESS at the Garden State Film Festival, which takes place late March 2025.
